Dressler Group is Preferred Partner of HP Inc.
The American PC and printer giant HP Inc. (formerly Hewlett Packard) has chosen Dressler Group as a Preferred Partner in 3D printing powder development and manufacturing. Among other things, the partnership is intended to make additive manufacturing techniques/3D printing competitive, even at higher volumes.
Meckenheim – In its almost 40-year history, Dressler Group (DG) has established itself as a quality leader in the finishing and optimisation of plastic powders. Especially through original expertise in terms of research, development and in-house plant construction, DG is a kind of extended research department and workbench for its customers.
A continuous quest for the highest level of quality and constant innovation has now also impressed the American manufacturer of PCs and printers, HP Inc. One of the pillars of HP is its 3D printer business, and Dressler Group is now the company's Preferred Partner for optimising printing powders. DG is set to take on powder development and production for HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers. In doing so, DG also ensures that all of the suppliers in the HP network deliver the raw materials in the necessary quality.
Additive manufacturing/3D printing has the potential to revolutionise industrial manufacturing. Such procedures have so far been particularly worthwhile for small quantities, prototypes and extremely complex shapes. The partnership between HP and DG now aims to help make these processes profitable in the volume business.
"We consider it both an honour and an incentive that HP has chosen us as a Preferred Partner," says Jan Dressler, CEO and Managing Partner of Dressler Group. “And it shows that our company motto 'The Grinding Authority', with all that lies behind it, also impresses industry leaders such as HP."
